How Do You Get Dark Circles Under Eyes

Skin thinning under your eyes. When we age, our skin and fat pad over our eyes gets thinner which causes our blood vessels to appear prominent. Dark circles under our eyes now appear. Exposure to the sun can worsen it because it causes our skin to get weak.

Lack of sleep. Our skin appears pale when we lack sleep because this lets our blood vessels become visible through our skin which gives the bluish appearance of dark circles below the eyes.

Iron Deficiency Anemia. Iron Deficiency Anemia can cause bluish tinge under the eyes.

Dehydration. In other cases, having dark circles beneath the eyes can be a sign of an impending dehydration.
