Steps for Making Your Own Under Eye Cream
Your under eye skin is very thin, not to mention that it does not have its own production of sufficient protective oils which are required for keeping your skin supple. It is for this reason why a lot of women are opting to use an effective under eye cream which can recompense for the absence of moisture in the area. Almond oil and fresh violet flowers can create a moisturizing and soothing cream for you’re under eye area that will definitely make your skin glowing and hydrated. If you want to make your own cream, here are the steps that you can follow in order to come up with an effective cream to keep your under eye area glowing and hydrated.
First Step
Put some fresh violet leaves and petals in a pan made from stainless steel. Cover this with almond oil before placing the pan on an extremely low heat. Make sure that the pan is covered and let the mixture steep within 6 hours.
Second Step
Remove the leaves and flowers from this oil and put in some beeswax. Stir the mixture until you have melted beeswax. Take the pan from the heat.
Third Step
Quickly put in some essential oil and vitamin E oil and stir this to combine all the ingredients. Some experts recommended the use of blue chamomile essential oil when making the cream since it can soothe your face’s highly delicate area. The only downside to it is that it can become a bit expensive. Other good options for essential oils that are gentle enough to use for your under eye cream include neroli, rose, geranium, and lavender.
Fourth Step
Pour the mixture into some glass jars and put the labels. Store this in a dark and cool place when you are not using them. The added vitamin E oil serves as the preservative, which means that refrigeration is no longer necessary if it will be used for around three months.
Fifth Step
For using this homemade under eye cream, dab a tiny bit on your ring finger. Pat this gently below your eye, from the outside and then work your way to the inner part. It is being recommended that you apply the cream using light tapping motion in order to have your skin stimulated instead of rubbing it in that can only promote the development of wrinkles in the long run.
